Stem cells and acid, not so quick?

Some weeks ago I postead about some intriguing research published in Nature about how acid might dedifferentiate cells to become stem cells. Well, it turns out the authors of the study are not sure any more. Which is a shame because given the recent focus on regenerative medicine using stem cells, this would have been a great way to get hold of plenty of them.
