How not to write about science

How not to write about science

As I much as I like reading The Guardian, writing an article and giving it the title "Could mushrooms be the cure for cancer?" is intentionally misleading. You don't need to be an expert in the topic to know that any article of the form "Could X be  the cure for cancer?" is going to be disappointing. The Guardian should leave articles like that to things (for lack of a better word) like The Daily Mail.
